10 New Things to do in Resorts World Genting

February 28th, 2018

A new mall, glass-floored gondolas, shows, activities and a giant LED show are among the attractions that beckon.

Resorts World Genting has seen something of a revamp in recent months, and now it’s bursting at the seams with all-new attractions and things to do! Their tagline promises that “exciting things are happening at Resorts World Genting”, and we’re inclined to believe that they’re right! If you’ve got a weekend to spare, here is a list of 10 things you can enjoy at the resort:

1.Take a cable car ride

It’s not not quite a magic carpet ride, but it’s close! Enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the 130 million years old rainforest when you take a ride in one of the 99 gondolas of the Awana Skyway cable car system. If you’ve got the spine for it, thrill-seekers will want to get into one of the 10 glass-floored gondolas — travelling 2.8 kilometres from Awana Skyway Station to the peak in just 10 minutes while standing on a see-through floor.

2. Stay at the world’s largest hotel

Two-time Guinness World Records holder, First World Hotel is officially the world’s largest hotel with its whopping 7,351 rooms. The hotel first won the title in 2006 when it had 6,118 rooms, then regained the title in 2015 after the completion of its Tower 3. Our tip? Choose to stay in the Wifi, Triple or World Club rooms for a pleasant stay at the resort.
